The other day I had the pleasure to visit Nampa's newest indoor play place, Jabbers. Tucked away in the new Nampa Gateway Center, Jabbers is a 5000 square foot play area complete with a climbing structure, play house, construction area, and roadway with cute little pedal cars for the kids to drive around. There is even a separate area for children under 3 to play safely away from the chaos of the older kids. My favorite part: the comfy leather couches for me to relax on while I know my kids are playing safely. The price is pretty reasonable. It is less than $7 for admission and parents are free. They offer healthy food and drinks as well. My only concern is the concrete floor near the couches and tables, but as long as the kids aren't running it shouldn't be too bad. Also, some espresso drinks would be a nice addition.
Overall, I loved this place and will be going back at least once more before the big move to Salt Lake. You can check out their website at www.jabbersplaydate.com/ for more info.
Update: Jabbers will be adding that espresso bar in Fall 2011!
