I followed the crochet pattern for a puff stitch hat from Crochet Geek and added a face with some crocheted eyes and an embroidered felt beak. The instructions for the eyes can be found on Bobwilson123's youtube page.
As you can see, none of this idea was mine. I had digital help from some crocheting experts, and they deserve the credit. However, I am proud of myself for making this. I never thought I would be able to crochet a scarf, let alone a beanie with earflaps and a face. Yippie!
