Masking Tape Name Art

While browsing Pinterest I came across this great masking art project from 10 Kids and a Dog:

I was inspired and in need of an activity for the munchkins, so I substituted the snowflake with the kids' names.
I babysat my friend's adorable little girl that day. Don't you just love her name??
Just a suggestion: Use card stock or canvas because printer paper will tear under the weight of the paint. I am so glad I put cardboard boxes down prior to letting the kids paint.

Samantha freaked out when her little brothers got paint on the boxes. She is definitely my child. :)

Philly has finally moved past his fear of getting paint on his fingers!

The painting turned out great and everyone had a good time.

Next time I think we'll use canvas and hang them in the kids' rooms.
