Graduation Cap "Bow"

My oldest baby is graduating from Kindergarten next week and I couldn't be more proud. I was, however, disappointed to learn that her class will not be doing anything related to graduation. I had been looking forward to seeing her in a little graduation cap, so I made my own. If you have a munchkin graduating from preschool or kindergarten this is a fun and easy little "bow" to make.

Materials:
stiff felt
a small milk cap or water bottle cap
a button
embroidery thread
black ribbon
hot glue

Cut your felt into a square. Mine was around 1.5 inches.

Wrap black (or what ever color you desire) ribbon around the bottle cap and glue it in place.

Glue the felt square to the bottom of the bottle cap. Make sure the solid flat side can be glued to your clip.
Fold a few strands of thread in half and glue them to the center of your felt square. Glue on your button.

Cover the top of your clip with ribbon and glue on the cap.
Voila! A tiny graduation cap fit for a princess...or a mouse.

Eek! Isn't she adorable?? I sure love my baby girl. :)
