A few years ago my daughter received a book from her Nana about the Tooth Fairy. The book came with a little velvet pouch to place your lost tooth in. Unfortunately, this pouch was destroyed within a matter of days. Now my daughter has her first loose tooth, so we made her a new pouch. This is a super-easy project that can be re-used for the next tooth, or transformed into an adorable little purse.

Materials Needed:
Felt in desired colors
Hot glue/ hot glue gun
Velcro tabs
Embellishments, glitter, fabric paint, etc.
Ribbon, if turning into a purse

To make the form for your pouch cut a rectangle 3 inches wide and 8 inches long. Round the end about an inch from the top. Cut the bottom edges at an angle (see picture).

Fold the bottom 1/3 of the way up and hot glue along the edges to create a pocket.

Fold the top, rounded section over the pocket to make the flap.
I cut out 2 shapes from a separate piece of felt and glued them the the front and back of the flap.

Apply the Velcro tabs to the underside of the flap to secure it shut.
Decorate as desired.
To make into a purse hot glue a ribbon to the fold along the underside of the flap.
