"Jenga" Block Flag Hanging

My husband and I got a set of Jenga blocks as part of a wedding gift over six years ago and they have only been used once or twice. My husband and I don't have much of an interest for them and our kids have sensory processing issues and the loud noise that comes with the tumbling tower has kept us from playing it with them. After 6 years in the board game box, I am proud to announce that I have finally put those blocks to good use.

Materials needed:
Jenga or "Jumbling Tower" blocks
red, white, and blue acrylic paint
paint brushes
hot glue
twine or jute
staple gun

Arrange your blocks and count how many of each color you will need. Put them into separate piles and paint them.

After the paint has dried glue the 3 blue blocks together first. Stencil on your star.
Glue the stripes together and join them with the blue blocks.

After the paint has dried staple the twine to the back of the blocks. This is how you will hang your flag.

Hang your flag for everyone to admire.

Happy crafting!
